The Ateneo Bulatao Center’s Research and Program Development unit seeks to advance knowledge and innovations in the treatment, prevention, and promotion of mental health and well-being of Filipinos across the life span and in various contexts.
We aim to realize this goal through:
SCIENTIST-PRACTITIONER APPROACH
We combine psychological theories with a deep field-based understanding through practice and applied interventions. Our work generates psychological courses, academic programs, intervention programs, community outreach, working papers, and published research.
COLLABORATION
We aim to foster collaboration among faculty, psychologists, students, clients, and external partners so that, together, we can bring our collective experience and expertise to positively impact psychological health.
RESEARCH IMPACT
We engage in research that yields actionable knowledge to improve the lives of individuals and communities. We aim to help solve consequential psychological problems by designing and testing programs that improve our emotional, psychological, and social lives.
ACCESSIBLE KNOWLEDGE
We aim to bridge psychological science and practice by making scientific insights accessible and available to anyone and everyone who wants to lead a thriving, healthy life for themselves and others.
